Bamboo
Bamboo describes a whole variety of species which each have their own slight differences. Natural bamboo is pale yellow in color, while the carbonized variety of bamboo is more brownish-yellow in color. This flooring also has the benefit of being highly resistant to moisture absorbtion. Because it is such a dense product, bamboo does not respond to staining. This is why their is a carbonized variety which responds better to staining.

The commercial domestic species of red and white oak are widely distributed throughout the United States. The heartwood and sapwood of red oak are similar in appearance, which is light-colored with a reddish tone. Red oak has a notably stiff and dense, has high shock resistance, and resists wear. Oak is practically synonymous with high-quality, durable, and distinctively attractive wood floors.

White Oak
The commercial domestic species of red and white oak are widely distributed throughout the United States. White oak is less red than red oak and can have a white to cream to light brown color. White oak is slightly harder than red oak, and also more durable. However, both types are notably stiff and dense, have high shock resistance, and resist wear.
